Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and further developing of a well-designed and efficient accounting function in line with International as well as Italian GAAP; this includes the proper and efficient design and execution of consolidation routines for existing and newly acquired legal entities
  • Responsibility for all quarterly and year end closing activities incl. external audit and timely reporting towards the Group
  • Insourcing of currently outsourced accounting services
  • Key driver and enabler for the review and completion of the implementation of Finance modules within the Navision ERP system and related BI systems
  • Streamlining the current legal organizational setup to establish a solid legal platform in line with specific regulations for further growth (also via acquisitions)
  • Development of the local Controlling and Reporting function enabling management to obtain necessary transparency and thereby to drive company’s performance improvement
  • Responsible for monthly reporting, cost and deviation analysis and corrective actions
  • Manage the annual budget preparation in compliance with Group standards and quarterly forecasts
  • Proactive development and execution of new and more effective KPIs and measures to improve Company’s results
  • Establishment and follow-up of internal control mechanism and governance policies to safeguard Company assets and minimize financial and commercial risks
  • Overall control on all financial transactions and matters, including audit systems and local legal requirements
  • Management of local treasury agenda in close alignment with Group Treasury
    External representation of the Company for finance/admin related topics (e.g. audits)
  • Financial analyses and preparation of Capex requests and investment business cases
  • Key stakeholder in day-by-day management, as well as key contributor to strategy development
  • Coordinate and influence activities across all departments where needed to ensure smooth operational efficiency
  • Ensure Compliance with all local Legislation for both the Finance Department and – as relevant – for the whole Company

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years solid finance experience in the Italian market, ideally within Multinational Companies well known for delivering excellence
  • Well-developed hands-on experience in all accounting, reporting and consolidation related matters
  • Staff supervision and management experience
  • Preparation and management of 9-digit / complex budgets
  • Direct experience in Finance ERP and BI development
  • Direct experience in complex corporate architecture design is preferable
  • Direct experience in M&A is a plus

Your key responsibilities

  • Build up expansion strategy together with Italy top management as well as Dr.Max Group headquarters

  • Overall management and execution of M&A/BD projects:

  • What we look for
  • 5+ years of experience in transaction advisory (M&A advisory, due diligence), private equity, or management consultancy
